We loved working with studio design! We take a lot of pride in our hotel and we want to make sure we showcase our property to our guests in the most top notch fashion possible. I think what we loved the most was the open and honest back and forth correspondence and the design team’s ability to take our feedback and work it into the final results. We obviously know and understand that the design team has plenty of experience with décor and update items, but with the distance between locations and the inability to actually have someone standing in and looking at our hotel, there were times where initial suggestions didn’t really line up with what we were looking to do. It was important to us that we had the right people to listen to our thoughts since we are here every day and we hear often what our staff and guests say about the property. The design team afforded us this flexibility and in doing so, we worked together on numerous spaces in hotel with the end result being something that both the design team and us here at the hotel could be extremely proud of!

The design team has so many resources available to them. We could literally go to them and say “we were thinking about doing this,” and within 24 hours (and most times even sooner) they had multiple options for us to review and decide upon. The design team helped us to provide a much needed jolt to our common areas in the hotel through new location appropriate (Alaska) furniture and décor. When I first came to the hotel, I felt it was missing that “Alaskan” touch and it was missing a sense of technology in the lobby. I wanted items that were attention grabbing and really started off the guest experience with a bang. It was too easy to accomplish this goal with studio design and I highly recommend working with them to any property looking to make anything from a small to a substantial change. It’s worth it!

To say it has been an absolute pleasure would be such an understatement! This was hands down one of the best investments we could’ve done as we take on our renovation. This is a great idea for the brand to offer this service to Hotels. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, organized, they return e-mails and phone calls, and they don’t make you feel like some of your questions are “stupid”. This was my first time in charge of a renovation and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had questions about what was acceptable/required for the brand with regard to décor and furniture, what matched with regard to tile and fabrics, and what worked within our hotel renovation budget. The Design Team helped with all that and more! Their professionalism is unmatched and the property wouldn’t look this amazing without them. I recommend to everyone looking to improve their property guest rooms, breakfast room, or Exterior…don’t do it without the Design team. They allow you to make suggestions and narrow options/choices down for you so you’re not overwhelmed. Since I’m multi-tasking with other job duties at the Hotel, it’s nice to have them provide advice and just listen. Most importantly, our guest experience and Medallia scores will certainly improve as a direct result of our partnership which means more revenue and a Hotel we can be proud of and promote in this competitive market. I love the Best Western Design Team!
